From 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., we are bringing together two practices that complement each other beautifully: a guided yoga session to awaken the body, followed by an immersive sound healing experience to settle the mind. It is a gentle, grounding way to mark a day devoted to wellbeing, and a reminder that looking after yourself can feel less like a task and more like a treat.
Begin with the breath
The morning opens with a flowing yoga session suited to every level of practice, whether you have been rolling out a mat for years or are simply curious to begin. Moving through mindful postures and steady breathwork, you will gently loosen the body, build a sense of balance and ease away the tension that so often goes unnoticed. As the practice winds down, the session flows into a soothing sound healing experience. The resonant tones of singing bowls, gongs and other instruments wash over the room, guiding you into a state of deep relaxation. Often described as a meditation you can feel as much as hear, sound healing helps quiet a busy mind, slow the breath and leave you with a calm that lingers long after the final note has faded. It is the perfect counterpoint to the movement that comes before, closing the morning on a note of complete restoration.
